Multi-timer relays are used to switch an accessory ‘ON’ or ‘OFF’ after a pre-determined delay time. This can be adjusted by the two selectors on top of the housing and can be set between 5 seconds and 6 hours.
By setting the O2 sensor timer delay to 90 seconds, t stops the 02 sensor from burning out. Once the bike has been started, the timer delay allows the engine and exhaust to warm up to proper temperature before allowing the O2 sensor to kick in.
